A/N: It's a poem experienced ..


I stump my feet, covered in tears of echoed screams, touch my fingers like their ripping off,

As my heart mutters in despair, I tumble. Sit on the ground.

Afraid of my own shadow, afraid of my faded reflection.

I hide behind the walls, blocking myself.

I lie; sit down listening to what could be joy.

Joy.

Is the thing I’ve looked for, the happiness I’ve longed for.

Has entered the vision, I’m afraid of.
